Summary: A full time faculty position in Biblical Studies and Theology in the School of Bible and Ministry.
Qualification Standards: Ph.D. in Biblical Studies preferred (Old or New Testament; New Testament preferred), ABD required. Skill and enthusiasm for teaching Old and New Testament courses is required; ability to teach occasional courses in Theology and Ethics is preferred.
Experience: Some teaching experience is required. Preaching experience is preferred.

Conditions of Employment:
1. Beginning in Fall semester, 2010; will consider a January 2010 start.
2. Full time faculty position on a nine month contract.
3. Salary range: $30,000 - $40,000 based on credentials and professional experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. A full time faculty member will be expected to assume a load of twelve hours per semester (25 hours of responsibility in each academic year).
2. Serve on one institutional committee.
3. Participation in unit and institutional faculty meetings.
4. Full time faculty are expected and supported to continue their own professional development as teachers and scholars in their discipline. The institution supports professional development activities of full time faculty members.
5. Maintain and comply with all policies, rules, and regulations included in the KCU Faculty handbook.
6. Display a commitment to active spiritual mentorship with students.
